The original net animation will be streamed on the official Pokemon YouTube channel on February 27, which is Pokemon Day. On February 13, 2025, the VA who will voice this anime’s protagonist was announced.

As per the official X (formerly Twitter) of Poke Times revealed that Riko Fukumoto, known for several acting and voice acting roles, will be the voice of the ONA’s protagonist Hana. However, no other cast members have been announced as of yet. Produced by CoMix Wave Films, the anime will be directed by Taku Kimura while Kentaro Nana is in charge of the scripts. The original character designs, made by Asuka Tsuchiumi, will be adapted into the anime by Maho Aoki. Jo Watanabe is the art director while Evan Call is in charge of the music.

The story of this anime short revolves around a young girl named Hana, who is a huge fan of Dragonite the Postman. One day, Hana receives a letter that has no address or sender and sets out to find the one who sent it with her friend Hogaeta. She discovers that it was sent by a child named Rio whose father works away from home. Hana decides to take it upon herself to deliver the meaningful letter to Rio’s father before his birthday.
