Original MHA cast members revealed to return in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes

The three main cast members of the upcoming Spring 2025 anime have also been confirmed.

The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes series announced the three actors who will be voicing the central characters of the series. The trailer also confirmed its Monday, April 7, 2025 release date. The trailer for the show also revealed that many fan-favourite characters from the original series will also be making an appearance in the prequel. 

On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, the official X account of the series confirmed the actors who will be reprising their original roles in the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes series.

Kenta Miyake will of course be reprising his role as All Might in the show. Additionally, the series is also bringing back Junichi Suwabe as Shota Aizawa/ Eraserhead, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Hizashi Yamada/ Present Mic, Akeno Watanabe as Nemuri Kayama/ Midnight, and Masamichi Kitada as Tensei Iida. Fans are excited to see their favourite characters being voiced by the beloved actors who had immortalized them in the original series. If you didn’t already know, the main cast members of the Vigilantes series are - Shuichiro Umeda as Koichi Haimawari, Ikumi Hasegawa as Pop Step, and Yasuhiro Mamiya as Knuckleduster.

The My Hero Academia: Vigilantes anime is based on the spin-off manga series of the same name written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court. It takes place five years before the original series and focuses on a trio of vigilante heroes who try to help those in need despite not being pro-heroes. The series is being produced by Bones Film with Kenichi Suzuki as the director. Yōsuke Kuroda is writing the scripts and Takahiko Yoshida is designing the characters. The music of the series is composed by Yuki Hayashi, Shogo Yamashiro, and Yuki Furuhashi.
