The story of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes takes place five years before the original series’ timeline. It centers around Koichi Haimawari, a guy who tries to help people with his quirk despite not being a licensed hero. One day, when his street dancer friend is attacked, Koichi finds himself in a bind. But they’re saved by an older vigilante hero named Knuckleduster. Both Koichi and Pop Step become Knuckleduster’s apprentices in their journey to become the heroes people need.
