The English dub of the anime will begin on 16 April.
The Beginning After the End was one of the most-awaited anime releases of the Spring 2025 season. With Studio A-Cat at the helm, people were excited about the anime adaptation of one of the most popular Isekai novel series. Unfortunately due to poor production decisions, the show’s bad animation is being criticised by thousands of fans online. Amidst all this, Crunchyroll has announced the English voice cast of the series’ first episode right before it’s set to be released on 16 April, 2025.

The Beginning After the End story and other details
Based on the webnovel series by TurtleMe (Tae Ha Lee), the story of The Beginning After the End follows King Grey, who dies and is reborn as Arthur Leywin. Now in a world filled with magic, Arthur is determined to live a full and happy life. As the magic-wielding son of two retired adventurers, Arthur wants to gain new experiences and purpose in life while learning new magical spells.
But things start to go awry as a war starts to brew between his country, Dicathen, and Vritra, a group of banished deities who rule another continent.
