The cast for the Kaneban Co., Ltd. junk shop's members has been revealed.
The upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX anime, which is also the 16th installment to the long-running Gundam Franchise, has revealed new cast and characters in its official Japanese website. No air date has been announced as of yet.
The new characters are part of the Kaneban Co., Ltd junk shop, and includes:
- Annqi - Mariya Ise (Ayaka Kirisaki in Mission: Yozakura Family, Serie in Frieren)
- Jezzi - Yukitoshi Tokumoto (Pokkle in Hunter x Hunter, Arayoshi Hatori in Death Note)
- Pomeranian - Kosuke Echigoya (Kane-chan in Mission: Yozakura Family, Bando in Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night)
- Nabu - Shoya Chiba (Taiki Inomata in Blue Box, Yudai Imamura in BLUE LOCK)
- Kaine - Yuusuke Nagano (Rei Kagura in Idolm@ster SideM, Eiji Higa in aquatope on white sand)
- HARO - Rie Kugimiya (Happy in Fairy Tail, Kagura in Gintama)
- Challia Bull - Shinji Kawada (Shuro in Delicious in Dungeon, Shino Aburame in Naruto)
- CONCH, a four-legged robot owned by Shuji
- Xavier Olivette - Seiichiro Yamashita (Yuto Hiya in SHOSHIMIN, Toru Ishikawa in Horimiya)
- Comoli Harcourt - Akane Fujita (Koume in Pokemon Evolutions, Sae Shimada in Death Parade)
- Char Aznable - Yuki Shin (Iharu Furuhashi in Kaiji No. 8, Hibiki Okawa in BLUE LOCK)
- Denim - Kosuke Goto (Koshigaya in Magilumiere, Zon in Delicious in Dungeon)
- Dren - Taichi Takeda (Shingen Tanaka in BLUE LOCK, Satoshi in My Oni Girl)

The main cast are:
- Amate Yuzuriha - Tomoyo Kurosawa
- Nyaan - Yui Ishikawa
- Shuji Ito - Shimba Tsuchiya
The series was first revealed during the ‘Gundam Conference Winter 2024’ livestream in December 2024, alongside an official trailer. Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is the first Gundam anime to be co-produced by Studio Khara alongside Bandai Namco’s Sunrise. Studio Khara also previously worked on the Rebuild of Evangelion films.
The story is set in an alternate version of the Universal Century timeline, and features a changed outcome to the One Year War between the Federation and the Principality of Zeon, where Zeon emerges victorious. It follows a highschooler named Amate Yuzuriha 5 years after the One Year War, who becomes embroiled in chaos upon meeting the war refugee Nyaan.
Kazuya Tsurumaki is directing the anime. Yoji Enokido is the script supervisor, working alongside script writer Hideaki Anno. Take designed the characters, while Ikuto Yamashita is the mechanical designer.
A re-edited movie version of GQuuuuuuX, titled Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- was released in theatres this 17 January, 2025.
