Crunchyroll will be streaming the series internationally, and the English dub will be released on the same day.
We have some incredibly exciting news for Dr. Stone’s English dub fans: the final adventure of Senku, Taiju, Gen, Kohaku, and the others will release its dubbed version on the same day as its original broadcast.
As you might already know, Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE will begin airing on Crunchyroll and Netflix on Thursday, January 9, 2025. And on Crunchyroll, fans will be able to access the series’ English dub on the same day. Usually, the English language dub for anime shows comes out a few days or even weeks after the original series. Thankfully, Crunchyroll has taken it upon itself to make sure those who enjoy the English dub are not left behind.
The massive anime platform announced the list of voice actors who will be behind the iconic characters of Dr. Stone. It includes Aaron Dismuke as Senku, Brandon McInnis as Gen, Ricco Fajardo as Taiju, Brittany Lauda as Yuzuriha, Ian Sinclair as Tsukasa, Clifford Chapin as Ryusei, Felecia Angele as Kohaku, Kristi Rothrock as Minami, Sarah Wiedenheft as Suika, Matt Shipman as Chrome, Mark Allen Jr. as Ukyo, Justin Briner as Ginro, Jessie James Grelle as Kinro, Kyle Phillips as Yo, J. Michael Tatum as Magma, Katelyn Barr as Nikki, Kenny Green as Kaseki, Michelle Rojas as Francois, Lindsay Seidel as Kirisame, and Alejandro Saab as Matsukaze.
The popular manga by Riichiro Inagaki was published by Shueisha from 2017 to 2022. The story revolves around scientific genius Senku, who, along with the rest of humanity, is suddenly petrified while attending high school one day. When he awakens after 3700 years, Senku is determined to de-petrify other people and rebuild civilisation from scratch with his scientific prowess. The third season of the show ended with Senku and his many allies planning to go to the USA to get more sweetcorn, which is a key ingredient for the revival fluid. However, as they try to brave the Pacific Ocean, the group will come across another scientific civilisation built by Dr. Xeno.
