But as she wakes up, both Kiyoka and Arata tell her that everything is fine because they didn’t sense any supernatural activity from her dream. Later, Kiyoka accompanies Miyo and Hazuki on their shopping trip and the trio engages in banter. However, Miyo suddenly senses a dangerous presence and is scared and begins to look around her to search for the presence, only to be approached by an older sickly man revealed to be Tadakiyo Kudo, Kiyoka’s father.

Later when all of them are having tea at a cafe, Kiyoka receives an origami crane containing a message from Prince Takaihito, asking him to visit the region. Kiyoka agrees to go there with Miyo, and the couple board a train later.

Later, he apologizes to Miyo, but she refutes it and says she’ll try her best to get along with his mother. The two visit a local shop together, where the shopkeeper tells them about some woodworkers dying terribly, likely at the hands of Grotesqueries. Kiyoka says he will look into the matter.
When the couple comes back home, they are ushered into a room with only one bed. Miyo is extremely embarrassed at the thought of sharing a bed with Kiyoka and runs out of the room to ask for another bed.

After that, Takaihito reveals that he’s had a vision about something terrible that’s about to happen in the Imperial City.
Although he doesn’t know the exact nature of the threat, he knows that it will bring massive destruction. He also says that the person at the center of this ordeal seems to be part of the Usaba family, and the only one who can stop it is the Maiden of Dream-Sight, Miyo Saimori. After hearing the Prince’s plea, Arata Usaba promises to support Miyo and thwart any threat to the Imperial Capital.
The first episode of this brand-new season was phenomenal, with the perfect amount of romance, mystery, and danger. It sets the tone for the rest of the season, which will bring some cataclysmic threat to the young couple. Kinema Citrus, once again, did a great job with the show’s animation. Miyo and Kiyoka's dynamic is now more relaxed and adorable compared to their shy, reserved interactions in the first season, which is a plus to those who want to see their relationship develop even further.
