The upcoming Spring 2025 anime Rock is a Lady’s Modesty just released another character trailer. A week ago, the series unveiled the first look at protagonist Lilisa Suzunomiya with a promotional video and character gap visual. This time, the trailer is for Otoha Kurogane, the other half of the rock duo at their all-girls school.
Rock is a Lady’s Modesty new trailer details
The incredible trailer starts out by showing Otoha in her school uniform. She is a perfect student with impeccable manners which make her a favourite amongst her peers. However, in an abandoned room at school, she unleashes her inner demon on the drums, screaming her love for rock as she bangs on the drums with raw intensity. A new gap visual also showcases Otoha in her school uniform and rock outfit, emphasising the stark contrast between her two sides.
Produced by Bandai Namco Pictures, the anime stars Miyuri Shimabukuro as Otoha Kurogane (Mei Takanashi in Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night, Inca Kasugaatani in Fire Force), and Akira Sekine voices Lilisa Suzunomiya (Saki Aoi in Senpai is an Otokonoko, Elfaria Alvis Serfort in Wistoria: Wand and Sword). The series is set to release in April 2025, with a final date yet to be confirmed.
Based on Hiroshi Fukuda’s manga, Rock is a Lady’s Modesty follows Lilisa Suzunomiya, who transfers to an elite all-girls school and gives up her love for rock music to fit in. Everything changes when she meets Otoha Kurogane, a model student who secretly plays the drums. Together, the guitarist and drummer reignite their dream of making music.
